As a long-standing member of the American Chemistry Council, we adhere strictly to Responsible Care® principles, as well as sustainability initiatives set by the American Fuel & Petrochemical Manufacturers (AFPM). We conduct monthly sampling and testing for product inventoried in our storage tanks to ensure the highest quality and consistency. With a staff of professional chemists and engineers and our own state-of-the-art laboratories, we have the necessary instrumentation, capacity and expertise to analyze spent caustics on a regular basis. Our quality control team can assist you in troubleshooting any related issues with chemical analysis, caustic storage, and chemical transportation.
RideTight® Confidence for Transport
Merichem®, along with its partner customers, has implemented the RideTight® Fluid-Sealing Management Program on our rail cars. Developed by VSP Technologies, it allows for the correct type and size of gaskets for each rail car, proper gasket material of construction, and torque verification on all manway gaskets. On-site operator training ensures that all RideTight® specifications are met.
