REGEN® ULS technology regenerates mercaptide-rich caustic and returns a lean caustic with minimal disulfide oil (DSO) content resulting in minimal DSO back-extraction into the LPG allowing Ultra Low Sulfur levels to be obtained in the treated product. High sulfur Coker LPG streams and those LPG products requiring < 5 wppm Total Sulfur are ideal REGEN® ULS applications. REGEN® ULS is so effective that in many cases, LPG can be treated pre-fractionation in a single train compared to conventional technologies requiring treatment of multiple trains post-fractionation.
