Merichem Company and its wholly owned subsidiaries will conduct business activities in a responsible manner with respect for the environment, health, safety, and security of our employees, customers, contractors, partners, and the public. In order to accomplish this, Merichem is committed to the Responsible Care Guiding Principles, as well as to:

• Complying with all applicable environmental, health, safety, and security laws and regulations; and other requirements to which Merichem subscribes;
• Monitoring performance and continual improvement through a management system that is compliant with the American Chemistry Council’s Responsible Care Management System;
• Practicing responsible environmental stewardship;
• Securing our facilities to ensure safe operations and continued supply of products;
• Providing information on the safe transport, handling, use and disposal of our products;
• Maintaining dialogue with communities about environmental, health, safety, and security issues; and
• Working with stakeholders to ensure our chemicals deliver their intended benefits to society.
