PTD Achieves ISO 9001:2008 Registration

Houston, TX, USA – October 2009 – Process Technology Division (PTD) has successfully completed its 16th consecutive annual audit for re-registration to the latest edition of the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System.

In 1993, PTD was one of the first US companies to adopt and be registered under the original ISO 9001:1994 Quality Management System standard. The new ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System continues with an emphasis on satisfying external and internal customer needs and requirements through a process of continuous improvement.

By focusing on continually improving how work is performed, PTD employees have shown their commitment both to Merichem’s culture of continuous improvement and to successfully meeting or exceeding each new ISO 9001 standard.
