Gas Technology Products LLC Announces the Sale of LO-CAT® System to Consorzio Laziale Rifiuti (CO.LA.RI.) for Removal of Hydrogen Sulfide from Waste Gasification Syngas.

Schaumburg, Ill., August 2005 — The LO-CAT® Hydrogen Sulfide Oxidation System has been purchased by CO.LA.RI. to remove hydrogen sulfide from synthesis gas (“syngas”) generated from the gasification of municipal waste for power generation in Malagrotta, Italy. The unit, designed to treat nearly 18 MMSCFD syngas, will reduce the H2S level 99%, removing up to 1.8 MTPD sulfur.

This unit will be the seventh such system licensed and built for waste gasification syngas, and the first in Italy.
