MERICHEM ANNOUNCES KIRK R. NOVAK AS VICE PRESIDENT, STRATEGY & MARKETING
Houston, Texas– November 2011 - Merichem Company, a global partner serving the oil and gas industries with focused technology, chemical, and service solutions, announced today the appointment of Kirk R. Novak to the position of Vice President, Strategy & Marketing. Mr. Novak’s responsibilities include coordination of Merichem’s strategy, marketing, and new business development activities.
Prior to joining Merichem, Mr. Novak held sales, marketing, and management positions at various companies, including Shell Oil, Nalco, and Chicago Bridge & Iron. Most recently, Mr. Novak was President & CEO of Enerquip, LLC, a Wisconsin-based manufacturer of heat exchangers.

Mr. Novak holds Bachelor of Arts degrees in Chemistry and Business Administration, as well as an MBA in Marketing. All of his degrees were granted from Whittier College.
