LPG-type
LPG’s can result from the oil refining process when making heavier fuels such as diesel, jet fuel, fuel oil, and gasoline. Merichem’s FIBER FILM® technologies have proven to be highly effective in the removal and/extraction of hydrogen sulfide, carbon dioxide, carbonyl sulfide and mercaptan from several LPG-types: Propane, Propane, Propylene, Butane, Butylene, Saturated LPG, Unsaturated LPG (FCC & Coker). The specific processes that are applicable to LPG treatment applications include: AMINEX™, AMINEX™ COS, THIOLEX™ (typically coupled with REGEN® when extracting mercaptans) and THIOLEX™ COS.
