Meat Processing

Merichem’s LO-CAT® technology has proven to be highly effective in removing H2S from ventilation air and biogas application associated with the production of premium meat products; and the manufacturing of cellulose utilized in processed meat applications. While the first application of the LO-CAT® technology in a meat processing application was in 1989 on a sausage casing process; more recent applications have the LO-CAT® process treating biogas and ventilation air at beef and pork packaging plants.
